Faculty Grants
FACULTY GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Supporting Plant Teachers. Enhancing Student Learning.
One of the primary missions of the Plant High School Academic Foundation is to support our outstanding teachers and staff by providing funding for resources that enhance teaching and student learning.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and business partners, the Academic Foundation is able to put donor dollars directly back into Plant High School. During the 2025–26 school year, approximately $60,000 in grants were awarded, funding classroom resources, technology, professional development, academic programs, and other needs across the PHS campus.
APPLY FOR A GRANT
PHS teachers and staff are encouraged to submit requests for academically focused resources, programs, professional development, technology, classroom materials, and other initiatives that directly benefit Plant students.
Please complete the GRANT REQUEST FORM and submit it, along with any required supporting documentation, to Amanda Moore, PHS Bookkeeper, by the appropriate monthly submission deadline.
Before submitting your request, please review the GRANT GUIDELINES carefully to ensure all required information and supporting documentation are included.
If you have questions about the grant application or submission process, please email Amanda Moore, PHS Bookkeeper.
PUTTING DONOR DOLLARS TO WORK
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing Academic Foundation dollars at work in our classrooms. From innovative teaching tools and technology to professional development and student resources, these grants allow our teachers to bring new ideas and opportunities directly to their students.
The Academic Foundation Board is proud to support Plant's exceptional faculty and staff and looks forward to funding another year of meaningful projects during the 2026–27 school year.
Have an idea that could make a difference for your students? We encourage you to apply!
