 Welcome to the H.B. Plant High School Academic Foundation

Supporting Teachers. Enhancing Education. Investing in Plant.

The H.B. Plant High School Academic Foundation is dedicated to supporting the academic needs of Plant High School and providing our teachers and students with resources that go beyond what traditional school funding can provide.

Thanks to the generosity of our members, donors, and business partners, more than $60,000 was reinvested directly into Plant High School during the 2025–26 school year. These funds supported needs across campus—from math, reading, and science to ESE, fine arts, technology, teacher professional development, and more.

YOUR SUPPORT MAKES AN IMPACT

Membership in the Academic Foundation simply means you have made a financial contribution to support our mission. Every gift, at every level, makes a difference.

Your generosity allows the Academic Foundation to work alongside PHS administration, teachers, and staff to identify and fund academic needs throughout the school.

Foundation dollars help provide:

• Teacher and faculty grants for classroom resources and academic initiatives

• Technology and instructional materials

• Professional development opportunities for teachers and staff

• Resources and programs that enhance student learning

• Support for the PHS College & Career Center, an invaluable resource for students as they prepare for college, careers, and life after Plant

• Two scholarships awarded annually to graduating Plant High School seniors

The Academic Foundation is more than a fundraising organization—we also strive to be a resource for the Plant community.

Throughout the school year, we host General Membership Meetings featuring informative guest speakers who help parents and community members learn more about Plant, its programs, resources, and opportunities for students.
