 Welcome to the H.B. Plant High School Academic Foundation

Thank you for your interest in the Plant High School Academic Foundation. The Foundation's purpose is to support the ongoing academic needs of PHS. When state and local funding of public schools fluctuates, community support is vital to level the playing field for students of all means and abilities. This is why the PHS Academic Foundation was created. Due to the generosity of our donors, over $60,000 was reinvested in our school during the 2025-26 school year. These dollars impacted all departments, from math and reading to science, ESE and fine arts. Our Members and Business Partners make this happen.

Membership in the foundation simply means you have supported our organization financially. Your contribution allows the Foundation to partner with administration and teachers on school-wide initiatives. Foundation funds provide our teachers with classroom assets to be creative, upgrade technology, and put more resources into the hands of our students. At a time when we are seeing record numbers of teacher burnout, our goal is to ensure PHS educators have the resources they need to provide your students an outstanding education. In addition to meeting classroom needs, the PHS Academic Foundation supports the College and Career Resource Room, an outstanding and much appreciated resource for our students as they prepare for life after graduation.

In addition to providing financial support to the PHS community, The Academic Foundation hosts monthly meetings with guest speakers to help parents and community members connect and learn more about PHS.
